Senior Yoga

This class is for beginners and those wanting to be reacquainted with the many benefits of yoga. This class is designed to expose seniors to the what, why, and how of yoga in their lives. The yoga instructor focuses on proper alignment of the body.

Ace uses various props, provides detailed cues, and will demonstrate poses. Yoga is important as the body and mind ages – with regular practice, yogis will increase muscle tone, improve strength and balance, become more flexible. These are just a few of the many benefits of yoga! Arrive 15 minutes early, wear comfortable clothes, bring water, and be prepared to take your shoes off (wear yoga socks).
